FAQ

1. What goes in the Isopod enclosure?

2–3 inches of nutritious substrate, plenty of hardwood leaf litter, and cork bark.

2. Do I need a moisture gradient for Isopods?

Yes. Mist one side (moist) and leave the other side drier. This allows them to regulate their own moisture. Also place any food like Dried shimps and calcium powder on the dry side so it doesn't go mouldy.

3. What do Isopods eat?

Isopods primary food is leaf litter. Supplement with fish flakes, powdered protein (shrimp/bloodworm), or vegetable scraps, providing only what they can eat in a day.

4. How often should I mist my Isopods?

Depending on the species and ventilation, mist 1–3 times per week to keep the substrate damp but not soaked.
